1

O LORD, place a guard on my mouth!

Protect the opening of my lips! Psa 141:3

2

May the godly strike me in love and correct me!

May my head not refuse choice oil!

Indeed, my prayer is a witness against their evil deeds. Psa 141:5

3

In all hard work there is profit,

but merely talking about it only brings poverty. Pro 14:23

4

“Everything is lawful,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is lawful,” but not everything builds others up. 1Co 10:23

5

Do not seek your own good, but the good of the other person. 1Co 10:24

6

For every one of Godʼs promises are “Yes” in him; therefore also through him the “Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God. 2Co 1:20

7

For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal. 2C0 4:17-18

8

Put yourselves to the test to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize regarding yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you - unless, indeed, you fail the test! 2Co 13:5

9

Now before faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed. Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female - for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:23-28

10

Wealth gained quickly will dwindle away,

but the one who gathers it little by little will become rich. Pro 13:11

11

The one who neglects discipline ends up in poverty and shame, Pro 13:18

12

The one who associates with the wise grows wise,

but a companion of fools suffers harm. Pro 13:20

or you will not understand wise counsel. Pro 14:7

14

Commit your works to the LORD,

and your plans will be established. Pro 16:3

15

A personʼs gift makes room for him,

and leads him before important people. Pro 18:16

16

If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know. 1Co 8:2

17

Be conscientious about how you live and what you teach. Persevere in this, because by doing so you will save both yourself and those who listen to you. 1Ti 4:16

18

Dear friends, we are Godʼs children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is. And everyone who has this hope focused on him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure). 1Jo 3:2-3

19

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will permit him to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.ʼ Rev 2:7

20

Then the king will say to those on his right, ʻCome, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.ʼ Then the righteous will answer him, ʻLord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?ʼ And the king will answer them, ʻI tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.ʼ Mat 25:32-40

21

Look! How good and how pleasant it is

when brothers live together!

It is like fine oil poured on the head

which flows down the beard -

Aaronʼs beard,

and then flows down his garments.

It is like the dew of Hermon,

which flows down upon the hills of Zion.

Indeed that is where the LORD has decreed

a blessing will be available - eternal life.

Psa 133

22

O my dove, in the clefts of the rock,

in the hiding places of the mountain crags,

let me see your face,

let me hear your voice;

for your voice is sweet,

and your face is lovely.

SS 2:14

23

The Beloved to Her Lover:

I am a meadow flower from Sharon,

a lily from the valleys.

The Lover to His Beloved:

Like a lily among the thorns,

so is my darling among the maidens.

The Beloved about Her Lover:

Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest,

so is my beloved among the young men.

I delight to sit in his shade,

and his fruit is sweet to my taste.

SS 2:1-3

24

But may all who take shelter in you be happy!

May they continually shout for joy!

Shelter them so that those who are loyal to you may rejoice!

Certainly you reward the godly, LORD.

Like a shield you protect them in your good favor.

Psa 5:11-12

25

Watch out for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son. I know that after I am gone fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Even from among your own group men will arise, teaching perversions of the truth to draw the disciples away after them. Therefore be alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears. Act 20:28-31

26

For I do not say this so there would be relief for others and suffering for you, but as a matter of equality. At the present time, your abundance will meet their need, so that one day their abundance may also meet your need, and thus there may be equality, as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.” 2Co 8:13-15

27

For I am afraid that somehow when I come I will not find you what I wish, and you will find me not what you wish. I am afraid that somehow there may be quarreling, jealousy, intense anger, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorder. I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve for many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced. 2Co 12:20-21

28

The LORD looks down from heaven at the human race,

to see if there is anyone who is wise and seeks God. Psa 14:2

29

Others are busy with their own concerns, not those of Jesus Christ. But you know his qualifications, that like a son working with his father, he served with me in advancing the gospel. Phi 2:21-22

30

LORD, who may be a guest in your home?

Who may live on your holy hill?

Whoever lives a blameless life,

does what is right,

and speaks honestly.

He does not slander,

or do harm to others,

or insult his neighbor.

He despises a reprobate,

but honors the LORDʼs loyal followers.

He makes firm commitments and does not renege on his promise.

He does not charge interest when he lends his money.

He does not take bribes to testify against the innocent.

The one who lives like this will never be upended.

Psa 15

31

Certainly the LORD watches the whole earth carefully and is ready to strengthen those who are devoted to him. 2Ch 16:9a
