And the world is passing away with all its desires, but the person who does the will of God remains forever. 1Jo 2:17

There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears punishment has not been perfected in love. 1Jo 4:18

But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, to aspire to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own business, and to work with your hands, as we commanded you. In this way you will live a decent life before outsiders and not be in need. 1Th 4:10b-12

First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior, since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1Ti 2:1-4

But he said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me. 2Co 12:9

My brothers and sisters, do not show prejudice if you possess faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. Jam 2:1

 

But if you fulfill the royal law as expressed in this scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. But if you show prejudice, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as violators. Jam 2:8-9

Come, letʼs consider your options,” says the LORD.

“Though your sins have stained you like the color red,

you can become white like snow;

though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet,

you can become white like wool.

If you have a willing attitude and obey,

then you will again eat the good crops of the land.

But if you refuse and rebel,

you will be devoured by the sword.”

Know for certain that the LORD has spoken.
